Erotic Heart Game

 I like games.  They're just fun!  The Erotic Heart Game, available at Babeland, consists of a sturdy, heart shaped box that is filled with over one hundered tiny scrolls of paper.  Each paper offers a sexual, sensual, or just plain fun (or funny!) challenge to do with your partner.  A game like this can be a great way to spice things up and keep the creativity flowing without putting pressure on either partner for new ideas. 

 Included in the box is a plastic tool, like tweezers, to help you pull your selected scroll from the box.  It really is easier to use them than to try to pull the paper out with your fingers.  To play the game, you can choose to do one challenge every night, a few at a time, or really keep yourself and your partner occupied by completing every single challenge!

My Answer: No.  Nature and I do not really get along.  I currently have right around 20 mosquito bites on my arms and legs just from spending the day outside a few days ago.  I forgot bug spray. 

Shunga Tenderness and Passion Collection

The Shunga Tenderness and Passion Collection includes an "Intimate Kisses" aphrodisiac oil, "Erotic" massage oil, "Sweet Snow" body powder, and a hand made feather tickler.

The collection comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, that displays a beautiful Shunga painting of entwined lovers.  This box would make it ideal for gift giving, and it is sturdy enough to keep the collection inside, or to be reused for another purpose.  Though it is eye catching and not very discreet, I do personally find it to be tasteful.

Upon opening the box, I found that the Shunga painting was also depicted inside.  Nestled securely in a cardboard holder that is fitted into the box, you will find the handmade feather tickler, a black silk pouch that contains the Sweet Snow body powder, a glass bottle with a cork stopper containing the Intimate Kisses aphrodisiac oil, and a bottle of erotic massage oil.  Everything is in a sweet Strawberries and Champagne scent and it is heavenly.  It is sweet and tempting. 

My favorite item in the kit would have to be the Sweet Snow body powder.  This fine white powder (invisible on your skin when lightly dusted) is lightly scented, and it is edible, tastes slightly sweet, without being overpowering.  Very kissable, and almost like a strawberry powdered sugar.  I like to dust a little on my collar bone when I am getting ready for the day, or a little on my inner thighs if I am getting ready for the night.  A little goes a long way with this powder.  I was worried it might feel sticky but that has not been my experience at all, in fact quite the opposite, it helps to keep your skin dry (I love this with the summer heat we're having right now).  The Sweet Snow body powder comes in a black silk drawstring pouch, and inside the pouch you will find that the powder is contained in a plastic bag that has no closure of it's own.  You can use a twist tie if you like, or just close the drawstring pouch tight enough.  I would not recommend pouring the powder directly into the pouch as it will just sift through the silk and you'll have a huge mess.  I am actually not a fan of keeping the powder in the pouch, and I think I would like a more sturdy container for it.  I do find I waste a bit of powder upon pulling the feather tickler out of the bag, it just flies everywhere if I am not extremely careful.  I have only used the feather tickler with this powder and not on it's own as a tickler for play, though that is also an option if that is something that you like.

Ingredients for Sweet Snow include: Modified starch, Corn starch, Aspartame, Natural and/or artificial flavor. 

The Intimate Kisses aphrodisiac oil is a glycerin containing massage aid, that is edible, warming, and of course is meant to increase sexual desire.  I found this to be a bit intimidating because it is thicker than other massage oils I have used and almost appears to be a slightly thin strawberry pancake syrup.  I was afraid it would not be absorbed into the skin and would create a sticky mess that would leave me wanting to run to the shower rather than relax, and well, that just doesn't sound sexy to me, at least when we're talking about massage oils.  I was pleasantly surprised however that it does absorb into the skin nicely. 

The warming is wonderful, and is enhanced by blowing on the oil.  It does not get too hot for me at all, it's just pleasant.  I adore the scent, which is of course Strawberries and Champagne, and is just the perfect combination of scents that make this oil not too sweet and not too overpowering, and it tastes wonderful.  Much like the sweet snow, slightly sweet and with a hint of strawberry.  It can be used as a lubricant and for oral, though if you are sensitive to oil or glycerin you obviously should not.  As well, be sure if you are using a toy with this, that is compatible with oil based lubricants.  I love the glass bottle and the cork stopper (which does come tightly sealed with plastic over it to prevent leakage, but when that seal is removed you do need to be careful because without it, and only using the cork as a stopper the oil can leak out if the bottle is tipped).  It is beautiful and I have it displayed on a bedroom shelf.  You could easily remove the label if that keeps you from leaving it out on display, but I happen to think Shunga's labels are beautiful. 

Ingredients include: Glycerin U.S.P., Propylene glycol, Aroma, Sodium Saccharine.

The collection also includes a bottle of Shunga's Exotic Massage Oil.  I knew I would love this oil as I already had a bottle of it in Vanilla and it is amazing.  I actually enjoy using both the Strawberries and Champagne and the Vanilla together to create my own special scent, and I often use this massage oil as a lotion after I get out of the shower (of course giving my self a mini massage in the process).  A little goes a long way, and it is amazing for dry skin and I don't find it to be sticky...it just absorbs right into my skin leaving me moisturized and smelling great.  The Exotic Massage Oil comes in a plastic bottle with a flip cap top, and it is very easy to dispense. The smooth oil is just thick enough that it doesn't all run out of the bottle at once and I find it easy to pour just the amount I need.  I would recommend storing the bottle upright.  As with the other products, the Strawberries and Champagne scent is amazing.  Slightly sweet, definitely more strawberry than champagne, but the champagne balances it out perfectly to make it not at all overpowering and to even out the sweetness.  I love the way the oil feels on my skin and I enjoy using it to give massages because it helps my hand glide over the skin and it enhances the massage.  I feel that using a massage oil ensures that you massage more evenly because you need to be sure to work the oil into the skin and at least for myself, I pay more attention to the areas I am massaging with oils.

Ingredients are: Cold pressed oils (almond, grape seed, sesame, avocado and sofflower), Vitamin E, Ylang-Ylang and Fragrance.

Overall, I love this collection.  I think it would make a fabulous gift for a bridal shower or as something special for yourself or your lover.  All of these items work well with each other and it is wonderful for a sensual evening.  Currently, you can purchase this collection at EdenFantasys for $47.99.

Babeland Body Massage Candle

I have discovered that I really enjoy using massage candles.  I think they are too "girly" for my husband to use on me (he hasn't tried *pout*), but he certainly doesn't protest when I light one, and he readily accepts the massage.  I find that a massage is so much easier for me to give, when it is well lubricated and my hands can glide more easily across the skin.  I also just love the ambiance and scent throw of candles.  I was so excited to receive the Babeland Body Massage Candle.

I received a 3 oz candle in the Rice Flower scent, though Babeland Body Massage Candles are also available in Citron Fig, Pashmina, and Mango Vanilla.  The 3 oz is $14, and there is also a 1 oz candle available for $6.  I think the Rice Flower smells amazing.  It just smells clean and not too overpowering or feminine.  I have found that after using a massage candle once, I can swipe my finger across the top and use them as a perfume.

The candle comes packaged in an eco friendly cylindrical cardboard container, and nestled inside you will find your candle, as well a small pack of matches.  I find including the matches to be a great touch, and I really appreciate them being so handy.  Since they came with the candle, I'm more likely to keep them near the candle and eliminate the search for a box of matches elsewhere in the house.

The candle includes simply soy wax, shea butter, and fragrance.  That's it!  The glass candle holder is sleek and fits well with any decor, and the curve makes it easy to hold and pour from.  There is a sticker on the bottom of the candle, but otherwise there is no easily visible indication that it is a massage candle.  The Rice Flower scented candle is white, and I believe all other scents are white as well.

Lelo Personal Moisturizer Lubricant

 

Lelo.  Every product I have seen by them just screams sleek and sophisticated.  Their packaging is gorgeous. 

Available at Babeland in two sizes, a 2.5oz retailing for $13, and a 5oz that will set you back $24, Lelo Personal Moisturizer Lubricant is stylish and sleek, and very slick.  It is intended for use to enhance the enjoyment of sexual activities, or to be applied simply as a moisturizer to intimate areas.  The larger size comes in a beautiful and elegant glass bottle, and the 2.5oz size, which I received for review, is contained in a small tube with a convenient flip cap top. It is glycerin and paraben free, and does not contain added fragrances.  Lelo Personal Moisturizer Lubricant is water based, and uses aloe vera, which is intended to moisturize and soothe. 

The full ingredient list is as follows:           water, propylene glycol, hydroxyethylcellulose, aloe barbadenis leaf juice, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, tetrasodium EDTA, guarana extract, ginseng extract, avena sativa extract, polysorbate-20, aspartame, polyquaternium-5, PEG-45M, citric acid

I found the consistency to be a bit thinner than I am used to, so I don't think I would recommend it over other lubricant choices for anal play, but I did find it to be long lasting and enjoyabe to use vaginally.  There is a faint scent to this lubricant, and I was not a fan of the taste, or the fact that it contains aspartame.  It does work wonderfully as a moisturizer.  While I do not own the larger glass bottle, I would absolutely purchase it, I love lubricants that come with a pump top and the bottle is gorgeous as well.

BabeLube Natural

Babeland, a fantastic women-friendly place to buy sex toys and vibrators, recently sent me a bottle of BabeLube Natural to try out and share with you, my dear readers. 

This water based personal lubricant contains mostly organic ingredients intended to moisturize and soothe your most delicate of areas.  As well, BabeLube Natural is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, glycerin-free, and contains no sugar or artificial sweeteners.

My first thought was how similar the bottle looked to the Sliquid Oceanics that I previously reviewed, and enjoyed very much.  Upon closer inspection of the bottle, I saw that was because BabeLube Natural is made by Sliquid.  I was excited by this because, if I'd had any doubts before (not really, but I'd never tried BabeLube before), I knew that being made by Sliquid meant quality.

The ingredient list is remarkably similar, I went ahead and took a photo of them side by side so you could enlarge the photo and compare if you like.  While Sliquid Oceanics will run you $15 a bottle at Babeland, BabeLube Natural is only $12.

I found BabeLube Natural to provide a fantastic, long lasting slickness.  It is thick, and yet thin enough without being too thin.  I could detect no scent and found that it is tasteless as well, though any lube in my mouth isn't really something I enjoy.  I love that can pronounce and understand the reasoning behind everything on the ingredients list and I honestly can't say anything negative about BabeLube Natural at all!  It's great!  I would absolutely recommend this product.

Sexy Costume Discounters - Fiesty Firegirl

I have always been interested in role play.  As an avid reader, I've always had a bit of an imagination...and oh the places you can go and the things you can do in your mind.  Naturally I had thought of playing some of those fantasies out.  I recently had the opportunity to review a costume for Sexy Costume Discounters...*the* place to go for sexy costumes.  They even have a great selection sexy plus size costumes for those of us with more ample figures (myself included!).

After browsing, I decided I'd like to surprise my husband with the Sexy Womans Plus Size Feisty Firegirl Costume.

The costume arrived promptly, and includes a firefighter's coat/dress, as well as a belt, a whistle, and a helmet.

NYDF?

This costume is not really suited for the warmer months.  When I tried it on, I hadn't yet turned the air conditioner on in the house yet and it was HOT.  Fortunately, in this case it didn't need to be worn long, and bonus, it will keep you warm if you wear it in the Fall or Winter.  It is very comfortable.  The zipper is in the front and extends the entire length of the dress.  The front pockets are only decorative.  I wasn't sure what was up with the NYDF.  Were they not allowed to use NYFD?  Typo?  I think I would have preferred it to say just "FD."  Luckily the patch is not where the focus is with this costume.

Overall, this is a cute and sexy costume.  Great for a firefighter's wife or girlfriend, or just to play around in.  I might even wear this for Halloween, paired with some black tights and a pair of knee high boots.  I only wish I looked as good in this as the model on the front of the package.
