"Those who are easily shocked should be shocked more often." - Mae West

Wow...  give your normally pretty reserved husband a gift card to Eden Fantasy (I won it!), and he just might surprise you!

I told him to pick out whatever he wanted, that I'm up for anything.

I am trying to figure out how to not be so SHY here, which really isn't so different from my normal personality anywhere.  I told you, quiet librarian type.  And yet, here I am.  But then I might share with you what he chose.  It seems easier to share reviews on items I choose I suppose.  I am really hoping that both of us can loosen up enough to not hold back.  I think that is the ultimate in a turn on for me.  Not holding back.  I mean, it is definitely sweet that he cares and wants to treat me with kid gloves, but it's okay unleash the beast!  :)

I am feeling rather silly saying that we hold back.  We've been married for years and together even more years.  Sex is good.  We both enjoy it it, and maybe holding back is the wrong choice of words, but maybe we had gotten in to a bit of a rut.  And maybe it could be better.  And maybe neither of us has been sure how to go about kicking it up a notch.  Not all the time.  But sometimes.  And maybe we are both interested in a little more than plain vanilla.  I am running in circles here I think.  Surely it must make sense to someone.

"The Summer hath his joys, / And Winter his delights. / Though Love and all his pleasures are but toys, / They shorten tedious nights."
- Thomas Campion

"Lovers, forget your love And list to the love of these She a window flower And he a winter breeze ...”
 - Robert Frost

“Seek Love in the pity of others' woe,
In the gentle relief of another's care,
In the darkness of night and the winter's snow,
In the naked and outcast, seek Love there!”

“Make love now, by night and by day, in winter and in summer... You are in the world for that and the rest of life is nothing but vanity, illusion, waste. There is only one science, love, only one riches, love, only one policy, love. To make love is all the law, and the prophets.”
